Elevation Contest- Win a pair of tickets to see the Raveonettes!

There’s a lot going on at Elevation this week: We’ve got our Suspension Clinic on Thursday; going to be at Candlestick on Sunday for the Cyclocross Grand Prix; and starting today, we're having a contest with a cool giveaway!

No question that we love bikes. We also have a lot of other passions, one of which is music. All kinds of music….hell, it’s in our coat of arms. That being said, in this contest we're giving away a pair of tickets to see the Raveonettes at Bimbo’s, Monday, September 22nd.

How do you enter? Step 1: "Like" our facebook post for the contest. Then "share" it with your friends. That's it. That’s all you need to do. We’ll draw a name on Saturday after 3pm and notify the winner the same day.*

*Must be able to pick the tickets up or meet at the show. No mailing.

Good Luck!

Clinic Series #2- Suspension set up for the real world

Right off the back of our debut clinic last month on tubeless tires, we’re announcing our next clinic: Suspension Set Up For The Real World.  The clinic will be on Thursday, September 18th from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. SRAM/Rock Shox will be here at Elevation Bike Co. (2648 Judah Street) to give a presentation on suspension set up and you’ll also be able to check out the new SRAM Guide brakes and their 1X drivetrain.

What you'll learn:

·      Terminology

·      Real-world adjustments

·      Troubleshooting

·      Ongoing maintenance

Arguably, suspension is the most costly and important component of a modern mountain bike. The ability to maximize these components is paramount to the performance of the bike on the trails.

Sign up early - limited capacity!

Capacity for this event is limited to 12 people; attendees are encouraged to bring their own bikes (regardless of suspension/fork brand). Ryan Condrashoff from RockShox will be joining us, who is  wealth of knowledge and experience when it comes to suspension. He comes from a downhill racing background. He has competed all over the world at UCI World Cup DH events and brings his understanding of suspension tuning to our shop! You'll be able to have a one-on-one discussion with Ryan on your specific bike and set-up needs.

Of course, libations of the hoppy type will be provided! To sign up, e-mail Scott at scott@elevationbikeco.

Hope to see you September 18th - feel free to contact us with any questions.
